Breakdowns & Maintenance
If you have an automatic gate then your gate is a machine with moving parts. Regular servicing can prolong the life of your equipment and save on costly repairs in the future. Depending on how many times your gates are opening each day we would recommend a service every 12 or 18 months. If your automatic gates have stopped working or if you have a problem please contact us to arrange a site visit. Our standard service includes the following:
- Visual inspection of all equipment
- Full performance testing
- Routine servicing of all equipment including:
- Greasing / lubricating of all motor parts and gate hinges if needed
- Cleaning of all safety equipment
- Removing the photocells and cleaning lenses
- Ensure all hardware, nuts, fixings, welding etc. are safe and secure
- Clean and test all gate access equipment such as keypads, intercoms and locks if fitted
- Ensure manual release mechanisms are in working order
